Bloom & Brew, the popular cafe from Mumbai, has a pet-friendly and inclusive branch in Assagao. The Balinese-style cafe offers low seating as well as comfortable chairs. With soft sand as your floor, every table and corner here sees a different story unfold. The place is perfect for relaxed conversations and hosts lively jam sessions and drag shows on some nights. We recommend the Brekky Lasagne on their all-day breakfast menu. And if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth without compromising your diet, give their protein brownie or grandma’s guilt-free banana bread a shot.

2. Kefi

Kefi is a café and bistro in the middle of a lush green, sun-lit garden in Anjuna. With open-air seating and lots of natural light, the place has a breezy, laid-back vibe. You’ll walk into the place to hear Greek music playing in the background, adding more charm to the ambiance. The place serves authentic Lebanese cuisine, and we mean it. Apart from breakfast, we recommend you try their signature carrot soup or Shorba Adas – both bestsellers for all the right reasons. The place was founded by Mr. Tony from Lebanon, and connoisseurs of Lebanese cuisine consider Kefi the best breakfast place in North Goa.

Caravela, a café in Panaji, is famous for its roast of coffee. Have a look at their coffee menu, try the coffee, take in the quirky wall frames tempting you with their coffee quotes, and you’ll likely walk out with a bag of freshly roasted coffee beans. The breakfast menu here is old school, Goan, wholesome, and homely, just like the place's ambiance. It includes platters of premium pork and chicken cold cuts. The must-try among Caravela’s dishes is undoubtedly the chorizo roll. Workaholics, beware! Because Caravela is a laptop-free zone that wants you to take a break from your busy work schedules and have a breather. The family-run joint is a must-visit to taste the flavor of old Goa.

Greenr is a chain of community-driven cafés known for its lip-smacking vegan and fitness-friendly food. After making its mark in Delhi and Mumbai, it has a new address in Fontainhas, Panjim. Greenr is India’s first California-inspired plant-based eatery – a hub that supports planet-restoring community actions as well. Its architecture has nostalgia-inducing structural elements of the century-old bungalow it used to be before. It’s hard to not fall in love with their exceptional variety of smoothies, kombuchas, coffees, and teas. The different rolls, such as the Avocado Black Bean Rice Paper Rolls, Downtown Beirut Falafel, Old Delhi Bhurji, and Austin Smoked Jackfruit are the must-tries on their menu. They make their food with dairy-free cheeses and high-quality, healthy ingredients. Even if you aren’t a fan of vegan food, this is where you’ll discover how delicious it can get.
